With its new tear drop design and rounder curves the 37-40 Fords have become one of the most sought after vehicles for the hotrod market. This 2 door sedan has been completely tore down and built back up. Starting with a tasteful, but different paint scheme is a two tone Vanilla over Teal combo. The color combo is broken up by a thin pinstripe that helps to accentuate the body lines of this cool old Street Rod. The drive train was the first thing to be addressed with the decision being made to go with a modern EFI set up. A 302 was sourced with a number of aftermarket parts added on. The polished aluminum intake is provided by Proformance Plus and wakes up the small block quite nicely. A set of chrome valve covers has also been added for a little extra bling under the hood. An Acufab throttle body supplies the mixture for this little modern roller. Keeping it cool under the hood is not only functional but very good looking walker radiator. Moving to the inside of the ?40 Ford, you will quickly notice that the color scheme carries over to a tasteful combination of Tweed and vinyl. The color is mainly Vanilla, with the Teal being utilized as a border to break things up. A set of VDO gauges monitor critical functions including; Fuel Level, Voltage, Water Temperature, Oil pressure and speed/mileage. The speedometer will need to be calibrated and it comes with instructions.
